Marriage License Application: Before getting married, couples need to apply for a marriage license from the County Auditor's Office. While not all counties in Washington State require notarization for the application, some may request it. It's essential to check with the specific county where you plan to apply.
Affidavit of Marital Status: If one or both parties have been previously married, some counties may require an affidavit of marital status to verify that they are legally eligible to marry. This affidavit may need to be notarized.
